1. Scope
These general terms of sale (GTS) apply to any order placed on the The Kingdom of Pearls website by a consumer or business customer, as applicable.

Placing an order implies unreserved acceptance of the GTS in force on the date of the order.
2. Products and prices
Jewellery and cosmetic products are described with the greatest care. Photographs do not constitute a contractual document and may show slight variations due to the artisanal nature of the pieces.
Prices are shown in euros including VAT (or excluding VAT for business customers — to be specified). The Kingdom of Pearls reserves the right to change its prices; the price charged is the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
3. Order and payment
- The order is confirmed after payment is validated and a summary email is sent.
- Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout (credit card, etc.).
- In the event of a bank refusal, the order may be cancelled at no cost to the customer.
4. Delivery
Delivery via tracked Colissimo, across Europe and internationally. Shipping fee: €3 per order.
The average preparation time before shipping is 3 business days. High-value jewelry is delivered against signature.
Indicative delivery times are provided when placing the order. In the event of a significant delay, the customer will be informed by email.
The risk of loss or damage to products is transferred to the customer upon handover of the parcel by the carrier.
5. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, customers have 14 days from receipt to return unworn jewelry in its original packaging, via the website contact form.

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. For exchanges: different size, another model at the same price, or product refund within 4 days of receipt and verification.

Products benefit from legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects.

7. Amicable dispute resolution — Consumer mediation
In accordance with Articles L 611-1 and R 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code on the amicable settlement of disputes:
When the consumer has sent a written complaint to the professional and has not obtained satisfaction or a response within two months, they may submit their complaint free of charge to the consumer mediator. The mediator must be contacted within a maximum of one year from the initial complaint.
